Membership
We are always on the look out for new members and we'd love to have you join us. Play groups are determined by the age of your child. Play groups are reformed every 6 months in September and March.
Play Groups
Play groups meet weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 AM to Noon. Each member takes turns hosting for their play group. The hostess will provide their home or choose a local park to meet in and provide a snack and drink.
Additional Activities
The Club plans various holiday parties, activities, and other group outings. These vary from year to year. In the past we have had Valentine, Easter, Halloween & Christmas parties. We have visited the La Habra Children's Museum, Irvine Regional Park, Atlantis Park, the Oak Canyon Nature Center & the Santa Ana Zoo.
Support for Families
Moms' Night Out, Bunco and a babysitting co-op offer you the much needed "me" time. Also, members volunteer to provide a dinner, baby-sit, run an errand, etc. following a birth (The Stork Club), death, illness, or other emergency in the family.
Meetings
On the third Wednesday of the month we have our General Meeting to conduct business and introduce new members. Newsletters are passed out to inform you of upcoming events.
Dues
Our dues are $20 every 6 months. This goes toward craft supplies, decorations, advertisement, etc. We also have a fund raiser every 6 months which is also applied to various Club activites.
Our Objective
The Garden Grove Mothers' Club's aim is to provide lots of fun, playmates for your children, companionship and support for yourself! If you are interested in joining, we require a commitment for you to attend weekly play groups and monthly general meetings and to serve as a board member on a regular basis. Regular attendance and participation are the "ENERGY" that keeps our Club going strong.
